I've been making art for as long as I can remember.

My creative journey began with painting, spending countless hours exploring color, texture, and abstract forms on canvas. Photography entered my life almost by accident—I originally purchased a DSLR camera simply to create high-quality archival images of my paintings for print reproduction.

What started as a technical necessity quickly became an obsession.

As I learned the camera's capabilities, I discovered infrared photography and immediately became fascinated by its ability to reveal a version of the world that exists just beyond what our eyes can see. That discovery inspired years of exploration throughout the American Southwest, photographing deserts, mountains, canyons, and landscapes in a way that transforms the familiar into something unexpected.

Today, my work combines a painter's eye for composition with a photographer's appreciation for light, texture, and place. Whether creating black-and-white landscapes, infrared imagery, or contemporary photographic art, my goal is always the same: to create images that invite curiosity, contemplation, and a deeper connection to the world around us.

When I'm not creating photographs, you'll usually find me pursuing one of my other artistic passions as a musician, painter, or graphic designer.
